Re-reading this book brought tears to my eyes。 The little critter book was what my family read while I was growing up。 Each book has a specific meaning and lesson to be learned。

Text-to-Self ConnectionJust Me and My Dad is such a special book to me！ It reminds me of the times I spent with my dad growing up。 Me and my dad have a great relationship。 This is a good book for the child to read to their own children as a parent to see both sides of life; the child and the adult。 Whether Little Critter and his dad were canoeing， fishing， or building a campfire， they always found a way to spend quality time together and that is something to cherish。
